A legal notice issued to the Islamic University in Uganda has raised several questions about the governance and re-appointment of the University's Vice Rector (Finance and Administration), Professor Kaziba Abdul Mpaata. The lawyers request Council resolutions, minutes, appointment instruments, terms of reference and information regarding the ad hoc committee. This highlights the broader importance of documentation and transparency in institutional governance. 5. Will the dispute be resolved internally or in court? The notice gives the Council 14 days to respond and states that court proceedings may follow if the demands are not addressed.
